My name is Rachel

My purpose as a teacher is to guide you in creating balance and connection, physically and emotionally. I teach with an open, honest and personal approach.

As a yoga practitioner, I will always be evolving – always longing to learn and forever a student.

My aim is to share the tools of breath, movement and aromatherapy to create accessible classes and daily practices for all. 

Wellness starts with your relationship to yourself. Loving YOU. Nurturing and nourishing yourself, inside and out, so that you can be the best version of yourself every day.

Yoga is more than just movement and physical shapes. There is no ‘perfect’ pose or place to reach in Yoga – we practice to create a connection to ourself.

About Me

I’ve been practising yoga for over twenty years and teaching for seven years. I have practiced many different styles of yoga over the years. For me, yoga was more than just exercise. I loved the way yoga connected my mind and body and gave me tools to have a more balanced life – mentally and physically.

Previous to teaching in Brighton, I lived in London working as an event producer for 15 years, travelling the globe producing high profile fashion events and shows. I needed a break from the stresses and demands of a fast-paced lifestyle and left my career in 2015 to fulfil a lifelong ambition of becoming a yoga instructor. 

Now yoga and wellness is what I deliver to a community near and far.

I am currently a 350 hour registered yoga teacher. I am originally Ashtanga and Rocket trained. I am also trained in Yin & Pre / Postnatal Yoga . I qualified as a Reiki practitioner in 2022. I am passionate about creating classes and retreats for people to come and REST and RESTORE. I combine aromatherapy, meditation and yoga to take you on an aromatic, sensory journey, so that you leave nourished, connected and calm.

My studies continued in 2023 with Embodied Beings and Calli Popham’s CPD in Embodied Movement. I cannot wait to bring this to classes in 2024.

I launched The Rest Club at the end of 2023 which is a monthly gathering of deep rest and connection in beautiful and unique locations.
